Highlander is a 9v9 competive style, usually played on payload maps. Highlander is consider much less serious than 6s, with many more items available and the use of all the classes due to highlander being 9v9. With one of all the classes, Highlander is consider much more flexiable and alot less burding. Highlander also focuses on ubercharges but they are not as important. Due to the less serious way Highlander is played and the fact that there are no class restriction, Highlander is much more popular than 6v6s.
